Cynthia M. Hawkins, CPA

Cindy is a shareholder, current vice president and member of the board of directors of Wiltshire, Whitley, Richardson & English, P.A., a full-service accounting firm offering a comprehensive range of business and personal accounting services. From 2006 – 2018 Cindy served as firm president and managing shareholder. 

A resident of Florida since 1972, Cindy grew up in a military family that moved according to her dad’s U.S. Navy assignments, from her birthplace of Puerto Rico to the Panama Canal Zone, Arkansas and Maryland.

She ranked third in Georgia in CPA exam scores and earned the Elijah Watt Sells Award, a national recognition conferred by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for outstanding performance by professionals who pass all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination on the first attempt and earn the highest combined scores in the nation.

Cindy joined the firm in 1989, and provides a range of services with a focus in tax planning, preparation, trusts and estates, employee benefit plans and exempt organizations. Her clients represent various fields of business, such as agriculture, retail, service, construction, medical and consulting. She oversees WWRE’s technology and monitors compliance issues.

Cindy offers her expertise to a variety of community organizations. She is the current Treasurer and Board Director of United Way Lee, Hendry, Glades and Okeechobee and of the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW). She is past president and treasurer of Pilot Club of Fort Myers, a chapter of the international service organization.
